The Bespoke Order process

If you are new to couture or have not ordered a bespoke piece of clothing before, you may wonder what the process of ordering one of our pieces is like. Below we have summarised the steps involved in our bespoke order process, both for in-person consultations and for our clients ordering from afar. Never hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to know more about the order process.

In-person consultation

Step 1. Book an appointment at our Frankfurt Atelier. Jennifer also travels to the following locations for an in-person consultation: London, Paris, Geneva, Zurich, Munich.

Call +49 69 70794003 or email enquiry@jenniferkleincouture.com to book a consultation, or use our online scheduler.

Step 2. At the Atelier, browse through our sample collections, designs and fabrics. You might have a specific idea in mind or you might be looking for inspiration.

Step 3. When we have decided on a design, I create a quote for the piece.

Step 4. Once the order is confirmed and the downpayment made, the creation process begins! We will inform you in advance how many fittings will be required and when these should take place.

Step 5. You will receive an email once the finished piece is ready for collection. For special orders such as wedding gowns or evening dresses, you will receive a copy of the design along with a little card detailing the fabrics involved in the garment creation.

We also offer the service of a photographer to capture images during the final fitting and then create a little album of these pictures along with some pictures of us actually making the dress.

Virtual Consultation

Step 1. Book a free 30-minute consultation at your own convenience via phone, email or our online scheduler.

Step 2. During the consultation, we will discuss your inspiration and budget, and I'll show you styles and fabrics to consider. I'll also take down your measurements. You will need a measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler for this.

Step 3. Once the order is confirmed and the downpayment made, the creation process begins!

Step 4. Your finished piece will get popped in the post. Try your design on and if it needs any adjustments, send it back to us and we will make those changes.

Step 5. Your finished garment will be returned to you to enjoy forever.

Please note: Wedding and evening dress fittings will need to take place in person.
