Senior Couture Seamstress/ Tailor/Première Main Qualifiée
Full Time: 32 to 40 hrs per week
Starting from: flexible
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Required on site for majority of the work time
We are looking for an experienced couture seamstress or tailor to join our growing team. As a couture atelier, we specialise in bespoke, one-off creations.
As a senior couture seamstress you will work directly with the designer to turn the patterns into final garments in a creative couture environment. You will be responsible for complex dress constructions, delegating hand sewing and easier sewing tasks to the junior seamstresses. You will play a vital role in ensuring all garments are produced on time and to the highest quality standards.
Skills required:
- Either fluent in English or German or French
- Excellent understanding of fit and garment construction, strong attention to detail
- Excellent sewing skills (both by hand and industrial sewing machine) and the ability to create a garment from start to finish, achieving the utmost highest quality possible.
- Strong understanding of fit, corsetry, interlining, structure and garment construction
- Extensive experience handling luxury fabrics such as silk chiffons, satins, twills, cashmeres and lace. Must be able to sew on the bias and sew 3 mm French seams
- Extensive draping skills
- Have a delicate handle for fabrics when sewing and achieve the utmost highest quality possible, while being precise and ensuring timely completion of projects
- Excellent knowledge of couture finishing techniques, e.g. lace applique, embroidery, draping and moulding luxury fabrics to the highest standards
- Assisting with fittings and implementing alterations
Senior Pattern Cutter
Full Time: 32 to 40 hrs per week

Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Required on site for majority of the work time
We are looking for an experienced couture pattern cutter to join our growing team. As a couture atelier, we specialise in bespoke, one-off creations.
As a senior pattern cutter you will work directly with the designer to turn sketches into bespoke patterns. Every design is unique allowing for a varied and creative workflow. You will be responsible for the creation of patterns across different garment categories from coats to dresses, daywear to evening- and bridalwear. You will be responsible for complex garment constructions, including interior garment construction such as corsets and crin structured underskirts.
Skills required:
- Either fluent in English or German
- Excellent manual pattern cutting skills, no Gerber pattern cutting
- Excellent understanding of bespoke fit and garment construction, from pattern creation to cutting and draping
- Developing patterns and adapting them after fittings
- Creating and refining toiles
- Draping on the stand when required
- Extensive knowledge of couture garment construction including corsets and other base constructions
- Extensive experience handling luxury fabrics such as silk chiffons, satins, twills, cashmeres and lace.
- Knowledge of couture finishing techniques
- Collaborating closely with the seamstresses during garment development, ensuring accurate fit and technical precision
