The Overdressed x JKC
Jennifer Klein and Dana Al Khalifa of TheOverdressed introduce the tightly edited capsule collection entitled 'Reve en Vert' of beautiful day to night wear. Dana values the importance of buying little, but buying well made, well produced beautifully executed pieces. This collection came about so naturally and organically as Jennifer shares the same values of sustainability and beauty.
The collection consists of four looks, made up of 7 pieces. All pieces are defined by their beautiful textures, be it slightly structured linen, softly cascading silk chiffon and double silk crepe or densely woven cotton shirting. The pieces are inspired by lush summers spent with friends and family between the beach and the city. The raffia fringe ensemble is made for relaxing under palm trees in the evening with friends. The three-tiered silk plissée skirt resembles the ocean and cascading waves, the ivory silk crepe flowing like water and resembling the soft and billowing foam on the wave’s crests. The more column like linen dress and linen plissée skirt are inspired by the tall and linear lines of skyscrapers and city skylines.
The entire collection is inspired by Dana Al Khalifa of TheOverdressed. It is directed at all women looking for extraordinary craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
Beautiful handcrafted horn buttons feature prominently in the collection. The unusual square shape was created by one of Germany's last button producers from finest Italian buffalo horn.
All pieces in the collection are created in true couture manner. All hems are handsewn and a variety of couture techniques such as plissées are employed.

TheRaffia Fringe Set
Few things call for more summer feelings than wearing a beautifully crafted linen piece. This skirt is emblematic of long summer evenings. Think swaying palm trees, captured by the natural raffia fringe, and long balmy evenings screaming for linen pieces that are light and airy.
The midi length skirt is fitted at the waist and hips, but then billows out into a bell shape. The fitted top is cropped in length, ending just at the waist but then has a peplum of natural raffia fringe. It has a zip closure in the back and features wide straps.

The Perfect White Shirt
The White Shirt came about as a result of the endless search for a white shirt with the perfect silhouette and button placement. The silhouette is semi-fitted, featuring side slits so that the front and back can be tucked in separately. Genuine mother-of-pearl buttons are strategically placed, to avoid any revealing gaps. A box pleat in the back allows for ease of movement.
The Linen Kilt is a Jennifer Klein Couture signature style. Featuring 25 pleats in the back and a flat wrap front, it flatters any figure and closes elegantly with a button on either side. Its wrap style allows for complete ease of movement and makes it light and airy - perfect for a summer business wardrobe!

Sky Blue Silk Skirt
The timeless silk blouse is made of finest silk crepe, featuring a concealed button stand with a slightly v-shaped neckline. The sleeves are straight at the top, flowing into dramatic balloon shape at the bottom and ending in a fitted cuff.
The sky blue silk chiffon skirt is a true day to night piece, made of over 10 meters of finest Italian silk chiffon. The skirt is made up of 3 tiers, each plisséed in a different style. The midi length skirt is lined in silk satin for complete opacity and can be styled in endless ways.
The Straight Linen Dress
Sometimes perfection comes in the simplest form, such as this columnar, black linen dress. A timeless classic, this dress features a very feminine collar and lapel in the Dior Style of the 40s and 50s, as well as a short T-shirt sleeve. The fitted cut streamlines the figure.
