We are looking for an experienced couture seamstress or tailor to join our small team. As a couture atelier, we specialise in bespoke, one-of creations. 

As a senior couturier you will work directly with the designer to turn sketches first into patterns, followed by toiles and then into final garments. You will be responsible for complex dress constructions, delegating hand sewing and easier sewing tasks to the junior seamstresses. You will play a vital role in ensuring all garments are produced on time and to the highest quality standards.

Full Time: 32 to 40 hrs per week

Starting from: flexible

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Required on site for majority of the work time

Skills required:

-Either fluent in English or German
-Excellent understanding of fit and garment construction, from pattern creation to cutting and draping
-Excellent sewing skills (both by hand and industrial sewing machine) and the ability to create a garment from start to finish, achieving the utmost highest quality possible.
-Extensive garment construction knowledge
-Extensive experience handling luxury fabrics such as silk chiffons, satins, twills, cashmeres and lace. Must be able to sew on the bias and sew 3 mm French seams
-Knowledge of couture finishing techniques

International applicants will receive help finding an apartment, organising language classes, etc.
